After graduating with a BBA in 1974, Bob embarked on a successful career in Sales and Management. He spent several years selling industrial and commercial products before accepting a sales position with GE Healthcare. For the next fourteen years, Bob achieved continued success in various roles, including Sales and Product Management. In 1990, as a member of Sam O’Rear’s team, Bob helped launch a national Strategic Sales training program which contributed to GE’s continued growth in the 90’s. In 1995 Bob left GE in order to pursue opportunities at Stryker and then at Toshiba Medical Systems. At Toshiba he played a key role in the implementation of a strategic growth initiative, first as Senior Director of Business Development and later as VP of Sales. While there he contracted with The International Group to improve the sales team’s success by providing and reinforcing specialized skills, tools and processes. As a result Toshiba achieved increased productivity, market share and profitability. Bob went on to leverage his experience with a couple of “start up” organizations before joining TIGI in 2006 as Business Manager and partner.
